Neil i would personally like to express my sorrow and to be honest disbelief at the loss of your friend Gary Moore . I have been a huge fan of Gary's since i was 12 years old (im now 42 ) . I must say it left me totally empty , and completely gutted . Words cannot describe what a loss this is to the guitar world . Heaven only knows , what it must be like for yourself as a friend and musical partner . For me Gary Moore was the greatest british guitarist of my generation , and can never be replaced . I simply can't believe it . Im sure everyone else on your website thinks so too .
Hi Neil , i must says its great to see you playing again . Ive seen you on stage with both UFO and Gary Moore over the years , and im looking forward to seeing you onstage in the UK soon .
A question i would like to ask you is , one thing that has always been levelled at UFO is that they never achieved perhaps what they could have . When you joined the band , was there a feeling that they could have still hit the hights of perhaps AC/DC , RUSH , or IRON MAIDEN , or do you think the band was very much on the decline . I have read Martin Popoff's book , and i have to say its a bit unclear as to who the band hold responsible for perhaps shall we say mis-management .
